A Women Entrepreneurship Management For Sustainable Development

Abstract

Women entrepreneurs are playing a vital role in the global business environment and they have
recognised as an important source of economic growth,women entrepreneurs create new jobs for
themselves and others and also provide society with different solutions to management,organisation
and business problems. It is expected that by the year 2020 10.02 million small business related jobs
will be created and women entrepreneurs will contribute more than 50% in this job creation these
data prove that women are becoming more comfortable in assuming leadership position and creating
job opportunities.It is said that family is a chariot with wheels which are driven by both the male and
female members of the family .If one of the wheels is lagging behind the chariot i.e. the family will not
be able to grow and develop .In the same way when we speak about a nation,the women
entrepreneurship plays a vital role in the economic development and make significant contributions to
the economic development of the nation the development of the country is would be very slow if the
women entrepreneurship is ignored and stoped to join the main stream of productive activities.
However,the situation is not completely perfect,since women entrepreneurs have to face certain
gender related problems.
This paper focus on the,aspects of women owned business,find out the obstacles that women face
because of their gender and discuss the suggestions to overcome the obstacles .The suggestions can
be helpful for women planning to launch their business
