Abstract

In the current scenario, E-Banking , Internet Banking, Online banking or Virtual banking Plays very
Important role in the development of a country . e-banking is the lifeline of an economy , for economic
growth a strong & healthy banking system is important. The Internet banking is changing the banking
industry and is having the major effects on banking relationships. Through e- banking a customer can
access his account and conduct many transactions using his computer or mobile phone. It is simply
the use of electronic and telecommunications network for delivering various banking products and
services. For example branch based internet banking, ATMs, multiple delivery channels such as
mobile banking, call centers. Banking is now no longer confined to the branches were one has to
approach the branch in person, to withdraw cash or deposit a cheque or request a statement of
accounts. E-banking is a generic term encompassing internet banking telephone banking mobile
banking etc. This Paper contains Internet banking, functions, Advantages, Limitations, commercial
Banking services.
