Comparative analysis of Socio-Economic characteristics of Sunflower Growers in selected area of UP

Abstract

A pilot study was conducted for collecting general information about topography, agricultural
pattern, cropping system, irrigation potential, and cultivation of sunflower and establishing rapport
with the farmers and extension workers. The information and observation gathered through pilot
study were utilized in constructing and administering schedules. The research workers working on
sunflower crops were consulted at various stages for the preparation of schedule and collection and
analysis of data.
