Covid-19 Influence on Virtual Learning Sector: An Optimistic and Pessimistic Approach
Abstract
The pandemic COVID-19 which hit the year 2020 has severely impacted the higher education market,
which is a key determinant of a country's economic future. A large number of Indian students second
only to China enroll in universities abroad, particularly in the countries worst affected by the
pandemic, the USA, the UK, Australia and China. This paper is intended to offer straightforward and
actionable guidelines for secure operations by COVID-19 avoidance, early identification and
monitoring in schools and other educational facilities. The paper will also inspect upon the
consequences of E-education which is being conducted during this pandemic situation. Higher
education is also important through the smooth access of classroom learning with e-learning
methodologies to build a centralized learning system. A multi-pronged strategy is necessary to
manage the crisis and build a resilient Indian education system in the long term.
