“India Click to BHIM APP”

Abstract

“Going Digital is no longer an option, it is the default”. Government of India encourages people to
move towards Cashless Economy. This can be achieved by use of Debit, Credit cards, electronic
payment gateway systems such as National electronic funds transfer (NEFT) and Real time gross
settlement (RTGS) etc. in India. The paper tries to find out and examine the how BHIM App has
connected to Digital space in India. The objective of the study is to study the changes from 2016 to
2019 in BHIM App. The paper also focuses on procedure to download and to use different features in
BHIM APP. The study has made attempt to compare the BHIM APP with Bank UPI and PAYTM.
